Entry Level Sales Specialist
Introduction
Kick-start your career in technology sales with the IBM Sales Accelerator Program — a unique opportunity designed for ambitious early-career professionals looking to grow into future IBM sales leaders.
You will be joining IBM’s international Sales Center in Dublin, Ireland, where you’ll work alongside IBM teams across EMEA, gain hands-on experience with real client opportunities, and develop modern B2B sales skills through world-class training, coaching, and mentorship. After completing the 18-month program, there will be your next career step waiting for you, either in Ireland or UK.

Your Role And Responsibilities
In this role, you will develop core technology sales capabilities while supporting IBM sales teams and engaging with clients. You will learn modern selling techniques, build pipeline, and collaborate with technical specialists and solution teams to help clients address business challenges with IBM technology.
Support the sales cycle from early prospecting through qualified opportunities Engage with clients to understand business challenges and technology needs Contribute to client conversations and early solution positioning Collaborate with technical specialists, solution teams, and partners on opportunities Build pipeline through outreach, lead follow up, and opportunity development Participate in structured sales training, certifications, and skill development

Required Technical And Professional Expertise
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Technology, Engineering, or a related field Recent graduate with up to 12 months of full time professional experience Strong interest in technology sales and client engagement Strong communication, collaboration, and learning mindset Fluency in English and the language of the hiring market
Preferred Technical And Professional Experience
Exposure to enterprise technology areas such as AI, cloud, data, or automation Internship, academic, or project experience related to sales, technology, or business development Interest in international work environments and willingness to relocate for the program assignment
