Environment, Health and Safety Manager
HSE Manager
Location: Park Royal, North West London Contract: Permanent Salary: £60,000
A fast-growing, highly regulated manufacturing business based in Park Royal, North West London is seeking a Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) Manager to lead and evolve its safety strategy.
With around 360 employees and recent investment in a new suite of cleanrooms, the organisation is entering an exciting phase of growth.
Operating in one of the UK’s most tightly controlled, MHRA-audited environments, this role offers the opportunity to build on existing foundations, bring structure to developing systems, and shape a proactive, high-impact safety culture in a fast-paced, delivery-focused setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a cohesive HSE strategy, bringing together existing systems and creating a consistent, robust framework across the site.
- Lead the review and standardisation of risk assessments and safe systems of work, ensuring best practice in a high-hygiene, tightly regulated environment.
- Drive cultural change by increasing individual ownership of health and safety, influencing stakeholders at all levels in a collaborative, low-hierarchy environment.
- Ensure ongoing compliance with UK legislation and regulatory expectations, while supporting audits, inspections, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Person Specification
The HSE Manager will have:
- Proven experience in a senior HSE role within a highly regulated environment such as pharmaceutical, sterile/aseptic manufacturing, or similar high-control industries.
- Strong technical knowledge of health & safety legislation, with:
- A NEBOSH Diploma (or equivalent).
- The ability to operate as a credible subject matter expert.
- A track record of improving systems, embedding structure, and delivering cultural change in fast-paced, operationally driven environments.
- Excellent influencing and communication skills, with the ability to:
- Build credibility.
- Work cross-functionally.
- Succeed without relying on a command-and-control approach.
