EHS Manager
Location: Redditch
Contract Type: Permanent
Hours: 7am to 3pm (Monday to Thursday) & 7am to 12pm (Friday)
OTE: £70,000 per annum
Our client is a leading global manufacturer, specialising in precision manufacturing. They produce critical components across diverse industrial processes to deliver high-quality products to a global customer base.
About the Role
The EHS Manager plays a pivotal role in ensuring workplace safety, environmental compliance, and continuous improvement in incident prevention and risk mitigation.
Responsibilities
- Oversee EHS incident reporting, monitoring metrics, and ensuring accurate data submission (monthly, quarterly).
- Lead incident investigations—identifying root causes of EHS incidents—and implementing sustainable corrective actions.
- Promote EHS awareness and reinforce a proactive safety culture across the business.
- Apply self-verification processes and report deviations to maintain compliance standards.
- Establish and drive a culture of continuous EHS improvement, aiming to reduce accidents, injuries, and workplace hazards.
- Collaborate with functional teams to ensure EHS compliance, including insurance recommendations.
- Manage and procure workwear for direct employees.

Key Requirements
Technical & Industry Knowledge
- Expertise in all Health & Safety regulatory standards.
- Knowledge of ISO 14001 (Environmental Management Systems) and ISO 45001 (Occupational Health & Safety Management).
- Experience at functional management level within an EHS role.
Experience & Skills
- Problem-solving and risk analysis capabilities, with an ability to implement action plans.
- Strong audit and administrative management expertise.
- Cross-functional liaison skills, ensuring transparent communication with teams, colleagues, and senior management.
- Proficiency in electrical risk assessment and related safety protocols.
