We're looking for an Environmental Advisor to join our Yorkshire Water Framework team based in Leeds, Yorkshire.

Location: Leeds, Yorkshire

Hours: 45 hours per week - some flexibility on hours available if desired, just let us know when you speak to us.

We are unable to offer certificates of sponsorship to any candidates in this role.

This is an exciting opportunity to join our Yorkshire Water Framework team, where you'll play a vital role in supporting the delivery of sustainable water infrastructure projects across Yorkshire. As an Environmental Advisor, you'll provide practical environmental guidance whilst ensuring compliance and excellent environmental performance throughout the framework.

What will you be responsible for?

As an Environmental Advisor, you'll be working within the Yorkshire Water Framework team, supporting them in delivering compliant and sustainable project outcomes.

Your Day To Day Will Include

  • Providing on-site environmental advice to operations and design teams, helping to develop compliant and practical solutions
  • Reviewing method statements and documentation to ensure environmental risks are understood and appropriate controls are in place
  • Completing audits and inspections to verify that environmental controls are effectively implemented across sites
  • Collecting, managing and reporting environmental data to support framework KPI tracking and performance analysis
  • Supporting the delivery of the Sustainability Action Plan and wider environmental initiatives across the framework

This role of Environmental Advisor is great for you if:

  • You have experience working in an environmental management role, preferably within the infrastructure or construction sectors
  • You hold an environmental related degree or equivalent qualification
  • You have a detailed understanding of environmental legislation and impact mitigation
  • You possess strong interpersonal and communication skills, able to engage effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders
  • You're flexible and willing to travel across Yorkshire to support projects
