Job Description

Ready to help protect the environment on one of the UK’s most complex construction sites? Want to be part of a team that ensures standards are upheld every day? At EDF, we know that Success is Personal – and this is your opportunity to shape yours.

The Opportunity

As an Environmental Advisor at Hinkley Point C, you’ll play a crucial role in managing environmental compliance across one of Europe’s largest construction projects. You’ll provide expert advice, challenge standards, and drive best practice as we support the transition to an Electric Britain.

You’ll join us on a salary starting at £56,506 per annum, with the potential for an annual bonus. This is a site-based role in Bridgwater, where you’ll work closely with contractors, consultants, and internal teams in a fast-paced environment.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Leading site inspections
  • Supporting audits and incident investigations
  • Ensuring environmental standards are maintained

You’ll gain valuable experience on a nationally significant project while developing your expertise in construction environmental compliance.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
