Emissions/Carbon Options Broker – Voice & Exchange-Cleared

Location: London
Compensation: Competitive base salary + performance-linked bonus

Imperium Commodity Search is confidentially retained to recruit an experienced Emissions/Carbon Options Broker to join our client’s established and high-performing carbon desk.

Our client operates a voice-led brokerage model, with trades executed through brokered markets and cleared on exchange. The desk is particularly active in compliance carbon options, while also looking to expand its coverage and client engagement in voluntary carbon markets.

Due to sustained growth and strong client flow, they are seeking a broker with 2–8 years’ experience to sit between a very senior Head of Desk and junior brokers, strengthening execution capability and client coverage.

The Role – Carbon & Emissions Options Brokerage

This role is central to the day-to-day running of the desk. You will be actively involved in voice broking, execution and client management across carbon and emissions options markets, supporting client flow during busy periods and providing continuity when senior coverage is unavailable.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
