Albert Bartlett is committed to sustainable and environmentally responsible practices in all aspects of our business. We are seeking an Environmental Compliance Manager to join our team and lead efforts to ensure that our operations comply with all relevant environmental legislation and standards.
In this role, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining environmental compliance programs that support Albert Bartlett’s sustainability goals. You will work closely with various departments to:
- Monitor environmental performance
- Manage regulatory reporting
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives that reduce environmental impact

The ideal candidate will be passionate about environmental stewardship and have a strong background in environmental regulations, compliance management, and sustainability practices.
Requirements
- Proven experience in environmental compliance management, preferably within the food production or manufacturing sector
- In-depth knowledge of UK and EU environmental legislation and regulatory requirements
- Experience with environmental management systems (e.g., ISO 14001) and audit processes
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify potential environmental risks and develop mitigation strategies
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with internal teams and external regulatory bodies
- Proficiency in data collection, reporting, and environmental performance monitoring
- Ability to manage multiple projects and ensure timely compliance with environmental obligations
- Relevant environmental or sustainability qualifications are desirable
