Environmental Sustainability Analyst / ESG Reporting Consultant (6-Month Contract)

Contract: 6 Months (Maternity Cover)

We're partnering with a leading global consulting organisation to recruit an experienced Environmental Sustainability Analyst / ESG Reporting Consultant for a fully remote, 6-month contract.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a high-performing environmental sustainability team focused on supporting ambitious net-zero goals through data-driven decision-making, supplier engagement, and sustainability reporting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyse complex environmental and emissions data to support sustainability initiatives and carbon accounting.
  • Support environmental sustainability reporting and external disclosures.
  • Coordinate reporting deliverables, timelines, and stakeholder inputs to ensure high-quality, audit-ready outputs.
  • Assist with supplier engagement programmes and supply chain sustainability initiatives.
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders to identify opportunities for emissions reduction and decarbonisation.
  • Produce meaningful insights and recommendations from large datasets.
  • Support environmental management processes, reporting activities, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 3+ years' experience in Environmental Sustainability, ESG, or Sustainability Reporting.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience handling large and complex datasets.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills are essential.
  • Excellent problem-solving and organisational skills.
  • Experience managing multiple priorities and working independently.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent.

Desirable Experience

  • Sustainability reporting frameworks such as EcoVadis, CDP, NFRD, or CSRD.
  • ISO 14001 Environmental Management Systems (EMS).
  • Carbon accounting and greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions reporting.
  • Supply chain sustainability or supplier engagement programmes.
  • Knowledge of SQL and/or Python.
