ENVIRONMENTAL ENFORCEMENT OFFICER

Location: Enfield, EN1 area

Pay: £14.80 per hour / Weekly Pay

Hours: 40–50 hours per week

Shifts: 5 set days (including 1 weekend day) – 07:00–17:00

About The Role

Kingdom Local Authority Support is looking for confident, professional, and proactive Environmental Enforcement Officers to support the local community in Enfield.

This is a field-based role where you will help reduce environmental crime, promote compliance, and improve public spaces by enforcing local regulations and educating the public. You will play a key role in maintaining public health, safety, and environmental standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Patrolling assigned areas to identify environmental offences
  • Enforcing regulations relating to littering, fly-tipping, graffiti, and waste management
  • Issuing Fixed Penalty Notices (FPNs) where appropriate
  • Investigating incidents, gathering evidence, and preparing reports
  • Responding to public complaints and conducting follow-up visits
  • Monitoring compliance and taking further action where necessary
  • Preparing case files and supporting legal proceedings where required
  • Working closely with local authorities, businesses, and residents
  • Using surveillance equipment where appropriate
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records

  • Full 5-year checkable work history required
  • Weekly pay via HIVE 360 Payroll Services
  • Role is initially offered on a temporary basis
  • Opportunity to transfer to a permanent Kingdom contract may be available
  • You will receive a contract of employment separately
  • Pre-employment checks will be carried out in line with company requirements
