ENVIRONMENTAL ENFORCEMENT OFFICER

Location: Hull – HU1 area

Pay: £13.45 per hour / Weekly Pay

Hours: 37.5 hours per week

Shifts: 8-hour shifts between 07:00 – 19:00 (Monday to Sunday, rotational weekends)

Requirement: Full UK manual driving licence (company vehicle provided)

About The Role

Kingdom Local Authority Support is recruiting Environmental Enforcement Officers in Hull to help tackle environmental crime and improve local spaces.

This is a varied, field-based role where no two days are the same – combining enforcement, public engagement, and community support.

You’ll be at the front line of keeping areas clean, safe, and compliant.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Patrolling local areas to identify environmental offences
  • Enforcing regulations around littering, fly-tipping, and waste management
  • Issuing Fixed Penalty Notices (FPNs) where required
  • Investigating incidents and responding to public reports
  • Engaging with members of the public, businesses, and local stakeholders
  • Carrying out follow-up visits to ensure compliance
  • Supporting wider community safety initiatives

What We’re Looking For

  • Confident communicator with strong people skills
  • Professional and calm in challenging situations
  • Good attention to detail and ability to problem solve
  • Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
  • Full UK manual driving licence (essential)
  • Reliable, proactive, and able to work independently
  • Previous enforcement, security, or customer-facing experience (desirable)
