ENVIRONMENTAL ENFORCEMENT TEAM LEADER
Location: East Lindsey, PE25 3SJ
Pay: £14.50 per hour / Weekly Pay
Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Shifts: 5 out of 7 days, between 07:00 and 19:00 (Monday to Sunday, weekend work required)
Requirements: Full UK Driving Licence, aged 21+ for company vehicle insurance purposes, Basic DBS required
About The Role
Kingdom Local Authority Support is looking for a confident and experienced Environmental Enforcement Team Leader to lead frontline operations across East Lindsey.
This role combines environmental enforcement responsibilities with team leadership, ensuring high standards of service delivery, compliance, and performance. You will play a key role in reducing environmental crime while supporting, motivating, and developing your team.
As part of the role, you will be provided with a company vehicle to support enforcement activities across the area.
Key Responsibilities
- Leading from the front by carrying out enforcement duties and issuing Fixed Penalty Notices (FPNs)
- Monitoring team performance, conduct, and daily operational activity
- Supporting the effective delivery of environmental enforcement services across East Lindsey
- Acting as a key point of contact for the Local Authority and other stakeholders
- Investigating complaints and responding to public concerns professionally
- Producing reports, statistics, and supporting Freedom of Information (FOI) requests
- Training, coaching, and mentoring team members
- Ensuring compliance with current legislation and company procedures
- Preparing case files and liaising with legal teams when required
- Supporting audits, documentation management, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Driving a company vehicle as part of daily operational duties

What We're Looking For
- Previous experience in a leadership, supervisory, or team leader role (essential)
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to manage challenging situations with professionalism and confidence
- Proven ability to lead teams and drive performance standards
- Good organisational, administrative, and reporting skills
- Proactive, reliable, and able to work independently using initiative
- Comfortable working outdoors and conducting foot patrols
- Knowledge of environmental legislation (desirable)
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Must be aged 21 or over due to company vehicle insurance requirements
- Basic DBS check required
