ENVIRONMENTAL ENFORCEMENT TEAM LEADER

Location: Camden – NW5 3AP

Pay: £16.23 per hour / Weekly Pay

Hours: 40+ hours per week

Shifts: 5 on, 2 off (07:00 – 23:00, Monday to Sunday – weekend work required)

Contract: Flexible / Temporary

Requirement: Own transport required

About The Role

Kingdom Local Authority Support is looking for a confident and experienced Environmental Enforcement Team Leader to lead frontline operations in Camden.

This role combines enforcement duties with team leadership, ensuring high standards of service delivery, compliance, and performance. You will play a key role in reducing environmental crime while supporting and developing your team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Leading from the front, carrying out enforcement duties and issuing Fixed Penalty Notices
  • Monitoring team performance, conduct, and daily operations
  • Supporting the smooth running of enforcement activities across the area
  • Acting as a key point of contact with the Local Authority
  • Investigating complaints and responding to public concerns
  • Producing reports, statistics, and supporting FOI requests
  • Training, coaching, and supporting new team members
  • Maintaining compliance with current legislation and company procedures
  • Preparing case files and liaising with legal teams for prosecutions
  • Assisting with audits, documentation, and process improvements

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience in a similar leadership or supervisory role (essential)
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to handle challenging situations professionally
  • Confident leading teams and driving performance
  • Good organisational and reporting skills
  • Proactive, reliable, and able to use initiative
  • Comfortable working outdoors and on foot patrols
  • Knowledge of environmental legislation (desirable)

  • Full 5-year checkable work history required
  • Weekly pay via HIVE 360 Payroll Services
  • Role is initially offered on a temporary basis
  • Opportunity to transfer to a permanent Kingdom contract may be available
