Shared Regulatory Services (SRS) is an innovative collaborative service formed between Bridgend, Cardiff and the Vale of Glamorgan Councils. The Service delivers a fully integrated service under a single management structure for trading standards, environmental health and licensing functions.

About The Role

Pay Details: Grade 9 SPC 31 - 35 £41,771 - £46,142 Pro Rata £21.65 - £23.92 Per Hour

Hours of Work / Working Pattern: 15 Hours Per Week, 52 Weeks Per Year

Main Place of Work: Cardiff County Hall

You will be based within our Cardiff Food Team which is diverse in culture and challenge. We are looking for someone with the right approach and enthusiasm to deliver excellent services and would welcome applications from fully qualified officers to join our team where you will carry out inspections at food premises, investigate food hygiene complaints and much more.

You will need:

  • The right approach and enthusiasm to deliver excellent services
  • Qualified officers to join our team
  • The successful candidates will have the ability and drive to provide a customer focused, responsive, risk based, effective and professional service. Key requirements include very effective communication and team working skills, the ability and motivation to solve problems, personal credibility and an approach that builds rapport and confidence from customers.
