Environmental Manager

We're partnering with a tier 1 construction contractor to appoint an Environmental Manager who will play a key role in shaping environmental performance across major construction and infrastructure projects.

This is an opportunity to influence projects from the earliest planning stages through to delivery, helping teams manage environmental risks, drive compliance, and embed best practice across a diverse portfolio of work.

What you'll be doing:

Making Environmental Performance a Competitive Advantage – Help project teams move beyond compliance by embedding practical environmental solutions that improve project outcomes and support organisational reputation for excellence Influencing Decisions That Matter – Become a trusted advisor to operational leaders, ensuring environmental risks, opportunities, and sustainability considerations are factored into key decisions from pre-construction through to delivery Protecting Projects from Risk – Play a pivotal role in preventing environmental incidents, regulatory breaches, and reputational damage by ensuring robust controls, permissions, and management processes are in place Driving Continuous Improvement Across the Business – Share innovation, lessons learned, and best practice across multiple sectors, helping raise environmental standards and create lasting improvements throughout the organisation Leaving a Positive Legacy – Support projects that not only deliver for clients but also minimise environmental impact, improve resource efficiency, and contribute to wider sustainability ambitions

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
