Environmental Services Worker - Permanent - Full Time - Evenings - Bedford

We are currently looking for a Full Time Environmental Services Worker to join our Bedford team!
Summary
Reporting to the Supervisor/Manager, Support Services, the Environmental Services Worker strives to:
- Ensure the cleanliness, orderliness, and general repair of Northwood Bedford
- Maintain and promote adherence to safety procedures
- Participate in safety training
- Co-operate with all stakeholders to ensure a safe and healthy environment for:
- Staff
- Clients
- Residents
- Tenants
- Volunteers
Qualifications
- Minimum Grade 12 or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years work experience in the housekeeping field in a Long Term or Acute Care environment
- Ability to read, write, comprehend, and follow specific instructions accurately
- Physical ability to:
- Lift, pull, push, and move heavy equipment and furniture regularly
- Strong teamwork skills to collaborate with:
- Co-workers
- Supervisors
- Residents
- Flexibility to work:
- Any shift (days, evenings, nights)
- On-call basis
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- WHMIS training is considered an asset
- Reliable attendance record required (maintain regular and consistent attendance)

Hours of Work: 80 Hours Biweekly (8-hour shifts ranging from 2pm–10pm)
