LANXESS UK is now recruiting an Environmental Specialist to work at our Trafford Park site!
About the Role
LANXESS is looking for an experienced Environmental Specialist to be an essential part of our Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality (HSEQ) Management. This role will ensure ISO9001 & ISO14001 compliance and oversee site-wide legal and environmental compliance, audits, training, and sustainability initiatives.
Main Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with environmental permits, ISO standards, and waste management
- Manage environmental data, performance reporting, and regulatory requirements
- Maintain and update HSEQ systems, policies, and procedures
- Coordinate internal audits and lead incident investigations
- Collaborate on safety training and HSEQ improvement initiatives
Experience / Skills
About You
You will be an experienced Environmental Specialist from a manufacturing background with a relevant degree qualification. You’ll need a strong knowledge of HSEQ systems, regulatory compliance, and ISO standards, plus skills in data analysis, training, and cross-functional teamwork.
You will be happy being site based and enjoy building relationships and encouraging a culture focused on safety and sustainability.

What To Expect
