Job Title
Are you looking for an opportunity to apply your sustainability expertise within a globally recognised professional services environment?
We're partnering with a leading international organisation to appoint an Environmental Sustainability Analyst on a 6-month contract. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to ambitious environmental goals, supporting key initiatives across emissions reduction, sustainability reporting, supplier engagement and environmental management.
About the Role
Working within a highly regarded sustainability function, you'll help deliver meaningful environmental outcomes by combining strong analytical skills with stakeholder engagement and project coordination. This role offers exposure to complex sustainability challenges, international stakeholders and high-profile reporting requirements.
The Opportunity
As an Environmental Sustainability Analyst, you will support a broad range of environmental sustainability initiatives, helping the organisation measure, manage and reduce its environmental impact.
You will work with sustainability data, carbon accounting processes, supplier engagement programmes and environmental disclosures, helping to ensure that sustainability commitments are supported by robust data, strong governance and effective programme delivery.
The role offers the opportunity to contribute directly to emissions reduction efforts, environmental reporting requirements, supply chain decarbonisation activities and ISO 14001 environmental management processes.
Key Responsibilities
Sustainability Reporting & Disclosures
- Support the delivery of voluntary and mandatory environmental sustainability reporting requirements.
- Assist with the coordination and preparation of sustainability disclosures and submissions.
- Draft and review reporting content, ensuring outputs are accurate, consistent and audit-ready.
- Gather information from stakeholders across the business to support reporting activities.
- Maintain strong quality control over sustainability reporting outputs.
- Support environmental management system (EMS) certification activities, including ISO 14001 requirements.

Data Analysis & Carbon Accounting
- Analyse environmental data to support emissions reduction initiatives and annual carbon accounting activities.
- Work with large and complex datasets, including sustainability, travel, procurement, finance and emissions data.
- Identify trends, insights and opportunities to support environmental decision-making.
- Support progress tracking against environmental objectives and sustainability targets.
- Produce clear and actionable recommendations based on data analysis.
Supplier Sustainability & Decarbonisation
- Support supplier engagement and sustainability programmes.
- Analyse supplier sustainability data and monitor participation in engagement initiatives.
- Assist with stakeholder meetings, supplier reviews and sustainability performance discussions.
- Contribute to supply chain decarbonisation activities and environmentally sustainable procurement initiatives.
- Support sustainability-related supplier reporting and assessment programmes, including EcoVadis and similar frameworks.
Stakeholder Engagement & Project Coordination
- Coordinate multiple sustainability workstreams and reporting deadlines.
- Engage with internal stakeholders across operational, procurement, finance and sustainability teams.
- Support colleague engagement initiatives that encourage sustainable behaviours and practices.
- Assist with project planning, timeline management and programme delivery.
- Act as a central point of coordination for key sustainability activities and reporting cycles.
Skills & Experience
Essential
- Minimum 3 years' experience in environmental sustainability, ESG or a related field.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification.
- Experience supporting sustainability reporting and environmental disclosure activities.
- Strong analytical capabilities and experience working with large datasets.
- Advanced Excel skills.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
- Clear and professional written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively within a fast-paced and evolving environment.

Desirable
- Experience with voluntary sustainability assessments such as EcoVadis.
- Exposure to mandatory sustainability reporting frameworks, including NFRD, CSRD or similar regulations.
- Knowledge of ISO 14001 Environmental Management Systems.
- Experience supporting carbon accounting or emissions reporting activities.
- Knowledge of SQL and/or Python.
- Experience within a large corporate, professional services or consulting environment.

Contract Details
- Contract Length: 6 months
- Location: Remote (UK)
- Employment Model: PAYE via ISE Partners
- Rate: Competitive hourly rate, dependent on experience
