Environmental & Sustainability Manager
Salary: £49,717–£62,503 per annum (pro_rata) Grade: I Hours: 35 per week (permanent) Closing date: Midnight, Friday 17th July 2026 (Ref: 26/41)
Regent’s University London is seeking an ambitious Environmental & Sustainability Manager to champion and drive our environmental strategy. This role is responsible for delivering carbon reduction, compliance, biodiversity, resource efficiency, and sustainable operations across our campus.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and oversee environmental and sustainability initiatives, collaborating closely with internal teams to:
- Develop and implement a net-zero strategy, tracking emissions and sustainability targets
- Ensure legal compliance (e.g., environmental regulations, corporate policies)
- Enhance biodiversity and circular economy practices on campus
- Optimise resource efficiency (energy, water, waste, transport)
- Engage staff, students, and external stakeholders to foster a culture of sustainability
- Monitor λειτουργia progress and report outcomes
- Inspire collaboration between departments to embed sustainability goals into daily operations
