EPIC Business Intelligence Developer
This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for an EPIC Business Intelligence Developer based in United Kingdom.
This role offers an exciting opportunity to develop impactful business intelligence solutions within a large-scale healthcare environment. You will work closely with technical and business stakeholders to transform complex healthcare data into meaningful insights that support operational excellence and informed decision-making. Combining expertise in EPIC EMR and modern BI platforms, you will contribute to the design, implementation, and optimization of data-driven solutions that enhance healthcare delivery. This position is ideal for a proactive problem solver who thrives in collaborative, fast-paced environments and enjoys working at the intersection of healthcare, analytics, and technology.
Accountabilities
- Analyze business and technical requirements to design and implement Business Intelligence solutions for large healthcare systems.
- Develop, configure, and support data-driven applications leveraging EPIC EMR and industry-standard BI tools.
- Participate in system design, interface development, implementation, testing, and deployment activities for analytics and reporting solutions.
- Translate healthcare business needs into scalable technical solutions that improve reporting, operational visibility, and decision-making.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including technical specialists, business stakeholders, and healthcare professionals, to deliver high-quality BI initiatives.
- Perform technical and functional application analysis while identifying opportunities to improve data accessibility, reporting capabilities, and business processes.
- Support ongoing optimization and maintenance of business intelligence solutions to ensure reliability, performance, and user satisfaction.

Requirements
- Proven experience working with large healthcare providers or healthcare systems in a fast-paced environment.
- Hands-on experience with EPIC EMR, including supporting business intelligence or analytics initiatives.
- Strong experience using Business Intelligence platforms such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar reporting and visualization tools.
- Solid understanding of application analysis, solution design, implementation, testing, and data integration processes.
- Ability to gather business requirements and translate them into technical BI solutions.
- Experience developing healthcare-focused reporting and analytics solutions is highly desirable.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary teams.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and capable of managing priorities independently while contributing to team success.
