Job Description
Grade UE08: £50,253 - £61,759 per annum
CAHSS / Moray House School of Education and Sport
Full-time: 35 hours per week
Fixed-term: until 30th April 2028
This post is fixed term until April 2028 with the possibility of extension (subject to confirmed funding).

As an Epidemiologist (Hidden Populations) you will advance Childlight – the global child safety institute’s methodological work to improve the inclusion and visibility of children living with disabilities and other hidden or underrepresented populations within CSEA data systems. Working across Childlight’s datasets, you will develop proof-of-concept indicators on visibility and data coverage, support improved disaggregation and statistical analysis, and review and produce methodological guidance to strengthen both secondary data analysis and primary data collection globally.

This post is full-time (35 hours per week). We are also open to considering requests for hybrid working (on a non-contractual basis) that combines a mix of remote and regular on-campus working.

Moray House School of Education and Sport (MHSES), University of Edinburgh, has been making a major contribution and impact to the fields of education and sport both in Scotland and worldwide for almost 200 years.
