Project Manager – EPM - Anaplan
Contract – London
Initial 6-month contract
SystemsAccountants is supporting a client through a major planning transformation programme and is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead the successful delivery of an Anaplan implementation.
This is a business-critical role requiring a strong project leader who can engage senior stakeholders, build confidence across the organisation, and drive delivery through a mixed team comprising internal resources and a System Integrator (SI).
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end delivery of a planning transformation project.
- Act as the primary point of contact for senior business stakeholders and project sponsors.
- Build strong relationships across Finance, Technology and external delivery partners.
- Take the customer on the transformation journey, ensuring engagement, alignment and adoption throughout the project lifecycle.
- Manage and coordinate a blended project team consisting of client-side resources and System Integrator consultants.
- Drive project governance, planning, risk management, issue resolution and reporting.
- Ensure delivery milestones, budget and quality objectives are achieved.
- Facilitate effective communication between technical and business teams.
- Support change management and business readiness activities.

Required Experience
- Proven track record delivering complex Financial Planning software implementation projects is essential.
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at executive and C-suite level.
- Experience managing multi-vendor environments, including System Integrators and third-party partners.
- Demonstrated success leading business transformation or Finance transformation programmes.
- Excellent project governance, planning and delivery management capabilities.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.

Desirable Experience
- Experience delivering Anaplan projects.
- Experience with Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), EPM, CPM or planning technology platforms.
- Understanding of Finance processes including planning, budgeting, forecasting and reporting.
- Relevant project delivery certifications (PRINCE2, PMP, Agile, MSP).
