About the Role
We are looking for an experienced and reliable EPOS / Field Service Engineer to support retail technology projects across the North of England and Scotland.
The successful candidate must have their own reliable vehicle and be comfortable travelling regularly to different customer sites.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, configure and maintain EPOS systems.
- Install and replace receipt printers, pin pads, scanners, cash drawers and other retail IT equipment.
- Diagnose and resolve hardware, software and connectivity issues on-site.
- Complete store installations, equipment upgrades and refresh projects.
- Carry out basic networking, cabling and troubleshooting tasks.
- Complete service reports and obtain customer sign-off.
- Provide professional customer service while working independently.
- Follow all company and site health and safety procedures.

Essential Requirements
- Previous experience as an EPOS, IT or Field Service Engineer.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Own reliable vehicle.
- No issues with frequent or long-distance travel.
- Willingness to work across the North of England and Scotland.
- Strong technical troubleshooting and communication skills.
- Valid Right to Work in the UK.
- No visa restrictions affecting employment or travel.
- Right to Work checks will be completed before engagement.

Preferred Qualifications
- CSCS and/or ECS card.
- Previous experience working in retail environments.
- Knowledge of routers, switches, network cabling and payment terminals.
