We are seeking an organised, personable Equine Insurance & Debt Administrator to join our team at Pool House Equine Vets on a part-time basis.
Pool House Equine Hospital has been a significant part of the community for many years and has been a beacon of high-quality veterinary care for our clients. Our staff are our biggest strength, alongside the fantastic facilities we have to offer. The group has specialist-trained colleagues and referral specialists in surgery, diagnostics, medicine, lameness and poor performance.
How You’ll Make a Difference
This is a varied administrative role combining insurance claims processing with debt management and general office responsibilities, helping to support both our clients and the wider practice team.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle and process equine insurance claims efficiently and accurately
- Liaise with insurance companies, clients and veterinary staff
- Manage debt administration, including monitoring outstanding balances and following up on payments
- Maintain accurate financial and client records
- Answer telephone calls and deal with client enquiries in a professional manner
- Provide general administrative support to the practice

Working Pattern
This is a part-time permanent role working 35 hours per week, with shifts between 9:30am and 5:00pm.
You Might Be a Great Fit If...
We're looking for someone with experience in the veterinary profession who is confident, organised and able to manage a varied workload. You'll have excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail and always put clients and patients at the heart of everything you do.
Other requirements include:
- Previous administrative experience
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Confident written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage workload and prioritise tasks efficiently
- Competence in basic IT systems and office software
- Equine knowledge

Up to £23,212.27 per annum
