Equipment Rental Warehouse Technician
Are you passionate about photography and looking to kickstart your career in the industry? We are currently seeking dedicated and enthusiastic individuals to join our team as an Equipment Rental Warehouse Technician.
As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for assisting with the day-to-day operations of our equipment rental warehouse. This will include tasks such as checking in and out equipment, conducting inventory checks, and ensuring that all equipment is properly maintained and ready for use by our customers.
No previous experience is required for this role, as full training will be provided. However, a keen interest in photography and a willingness to learn are essential.
The successful candidate will have excellent attention to detail, strong organisational skills, and a positive attitude. You will be working closely with our experienced team members, who will provide guidance and support as you develop your skills and knowledge in the photography industry.

Key Responsibilities
Job Equipment Preparation:
- Take responsibility for the precise and careful preparation of jobs, ensuring that all equipment is thoroughly checked, clean, and presented to the highest standard before dispatch.
- Conduct equipment inspections to verify that every item sent out meets our rigorous standards for functionality and appearance.
Equipment Handling:
- Operate and maintain warehouse equipment with care, immediately flagging any damaged or sub-standard items to your supervisor.
- Assist in minor repairs where possible to minimise equipment downtime.
- The role involves regular heavy lifting.
Driving & Delivery:
- Safely drive company vehicles to deliver and collect equipment from job sites and various suppliers.
- Ride the company cargo bike for local deliveries and collections as required.
Team Collaboration & Support:
- Support the warehouse supervisors by assisting with daily tasks, ensuring seamless operations and upholding our quality standards.
- Cover supervisory responsibilities during holidays or periods of absence, maintaining oversight of job preparation and equipment handling.
Health & Safety:
- Strictly adhere to all health and safety guidelines to maintain a clean, safe, and organised warehouse environment.
Problem Solving:
- Identify and promptly address any discrepancies or issues during job preparation or delivery, ensuring that our standards are never compromised.

- Driving Competence: A valid driving licence and a clean driving record are essential.
- Cycling: Willingness and ability to ride a cargo bike as part of the role.
- Experience: Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment is desirable, although enthusiastic candidates with a keen eye for detail are welcome.
