The Role
BTG Pactual is seeking to hire an Analyst for an initial period of 3-6 months to support the Long Short Financials Equity Portfolio Management team based in London. The successful candidate will be responsible for helping with further fundamental analysis processes and investment decision support for the Portfolio Manager.

Responsibilities
- Investment due diligence including setting up and attending meetings / calls with management, creation and management of financial reporting, interviewing research analysts
- Financial analysis including detailed financial modelling and scenario testing
- Asset management activities including monitoring existing positions, and updating financial models upon quarterly reporting from invested companies
- Updating Portfolio Manager about the latest development in key sector debates and stocks.

Skills & Experience
- At least 1-2 years of relevant post graduate work experience in Capital Markets, Private Equity, M&A or Investment Banking (FIG preferably)
- Strong oral and written English skills
- Other languages would be preferred
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Bachelor’s and Master’s/MBA degree with an excellent academic record
- Certification would be a plus (CFA, CAIA)
