Vice President in Program Trading

As a Vice President in Programme Trading, you will join a market-leading team focused on executing equity programmes, trading index rebalances, and expanding International Customer Investment Banking (CIBs) offerings. You will partner with Product, Trading, Sales and Technology teams to provide a full suite of liquidity solutions, anticipate and mitigate risks, and contribute to the automation and improvement of our technology platform. You will play a key role in building client relationships and supporting strategic growth.
Job Responsibilities
- Execute equity programs and index rebalances for institutional clients
- Play an integral role in the build-out and growth of our international CIBs offering and capabilities
- Partner with Product, Trading, Sales and Technology teams to deliver innovative solutions
- Anticipate and mitigate risks through operational excellence, reducing error P&L and maintaining reputational integrity
- Contribute to the improvement and automation of our technology platform
- Adapt communication styles to connect effectively with a wide variety of seniorities and disciplines
- Multi-task efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Collaborate with colleagues to deliver high-quality client service

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
- Disciplined approach to executing client programs, servicing clients and trading index rebalances
- Ability to work under pressure and adapt to stressful environments
- Due diligence and attention to detail
- Strong work ethic, effective communication skills, and a collaborative team player
- Ability to deliver content and leverage partners across the franchise
- Strong analytical and interpersonal skills

This role encompasses the performance of UK regulated activity. The successful candidate must meet UK regulatory requirements regarding fitness, propriety, knowledge, and competence (as assessed by the Firm). Approval may be required by the UK Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) and/or the Prudential Regulation Authority (PRA).
