Equity Research Administrator / Analyst – Manager Research (Hybrid Role)
About the Role
We are seeking a dynamic, reliable individual to join our Equity Manager Research team at Mercer. The successful candidate will be an integral part of the equity team based in London, with collaborative reach across the globe, working on varied tasks and projects. This is a hybrid role, requiring presence in the office at least three days per week.
The Manager Research team at Mercer comprises over 200 investment professionals spanning 15 countries and more than 30 cities. We serve clients across the spectrum:
- Supporting manager selection for US$16.2 trillion through advisory relationships
- Managing US$692 billion for discretionary clients
Key Responsibilities
You will work closely with colleagues to deliver insights effectively, efficiently, and consistently. Core duties include:
- Manager Research & Reporting
- Assist with delivering manager research and producing regular reporting
- Support ad hoc strategic analysis and thought pieces

- Operational Framework & Governance
- Maintain frameworks to facilitate collaboration and governance
- Provide operational oversight for team projects and stakeholder coordination
Day-to-Day Duties
- Co-ordinate with internal and external stakeholders on regular and ad hoc research tasks
- Collaborate with team members to produce reports (written, PowerPoint, Word, Excel)
- Lead global team communication channels to support collaboration and governance practices
- Conduct data analysis to support strategic projects
- Assist with document formatting (templates, consistency standards)
- Manage projects from an operational perspective

Essential
- Flexibility and ability to pivot between tasks
- Strong attention to detail

Preferred (Desirable)
- Interest in financial markets (particularly equities) and asset management
