Advisers guide clients through the benefits, potential risks, and all associated costs so they can make informed, confident decisions. Role Description
The Equity Release Adviser will provide impartial, compliant advice to clients considering equity release, explaining products, risks, benefits, and costs in clear, accessible terms.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

- Conducting fact-finds
- Assessing client needs
- Preparing recommendations
- Guiding clients through the application process while ensuring all regulatory requirements are met
Additional Responsibilities
- Maintaining accurate records
- Liaising with providers and solicitors
- Following up with clients to ensure ongoing support and satisfaction
- Contributing to continuous improvement of advice processes and customer experience
This is a full-time remote role.
Qualifications
- Strong client-facing skills, including clear communication, active listening, and the ability to explain complex financial concepts in straightforward language.
- Experience in financial advice, mortgage, or equity release advisory, with a solid understanding of UK financial services and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to assess client circumstances and present suitable solutions or alternatives.
- High level of integrity, professional judgment, and commitment to delivering compliant, customer-focused advice.
- Strong organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple client cases and documentation remotely.
- Relevant professional qualification in equity release or mortgage advice (e.g., CeRER or equivalent), or a willingness to obtain such qualifications within an agreed timeframe.
- Proficiency with digital tools and remote working technologies, including secure communication and documentation systems.
- Prior experience working under FCA regulation is highly beneficial.
