Employee Relations Specialist
Northamptonshire (Hybrid Working)
6 Month Fixed Term Contract

Loom Talent are delighted to be partnering with a leading global organisation to recruit an ER Specialist on an initial 6-month fixed term contract.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a busy and supportive HR team, partnering with a number of corporate business functions including IT, Finance and Customer Experience. Working closely with the HR Business Partner, you'll act as the go-to ER expert, supporting managers through a wide range of employee relations matters while helping to drive consistency and best practice across the business.

The Role

  • Manage a varied and complex employee relations caseload including disciplinaries, grievances, absence management and appeals.
  • Act as the main HR contact for managers across your business areas, providing pragmatic advice and guidance on all employee relations matters.
  • Support organisational change activity, including consultations, restructures and wider business change projects.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with Trade Unions and employee representative groups where required.
  • Coach and develop managers, building capability and confidence in managing people matters effectively.
  • Support the review and implementation of HR policies, ensuring compliance with current employment legislation.
  • Keep up to date with employment law changes and work with the wider HR team to implement any required updates.
  • Support the rollout of new HR systems and continuous improvement initiatives across the People function.

This role would suit an experienced ER Specialist, Senior HR Advisor or HR Business Partner with a strong background in complex ER case management. Experience working with Trade Unions is essential, along with a solid understanding of UK employment law and the confidence to influence stakeholders at all levels.
