ERP Change Lead – Ariba
18 month FTC
We are looking for an experienced ERP Change Lead to play a key role in a major SAP ERP Cloud Apps transformation programme, supporting the implementation of Ariba and Fieldglass Statement of Work across our client.
This is an opportunity to lead change management activity across a complex, organisation-wide programme, ensuring stakeholders are engaged, business impacts are understood and managed, and teams are prepared and supported through transition to new ways of working.
What you’ll be doing
- Lead the change management strategy and delivery for the implementation of SAP Ariba and Fieldglass SoW across the business.
- Develop and deliver integrated change, engagement, communication and training plans aligned to programme milestones.
- Identify, assess and communicate change impacts across processes, roles, systems and behaviours.
- Build strong relationships with Finance, Commercial, Procurement, Digital, the ERP Programme and wider directorates to support adoption.
- Work closely with the system integrator, functional leads, the Transformation Office and other change programmes to ensure alignment.
- Create and maintain change heat maps to identify change intensity, sequencing and potential saturation across the organisation.
- Coordinate and support a network of Change Champions and Agents, providing the tools, training and guidance needed to enable local change delivery.
- Monitor and report on change readiness, adoption, risks, issues and benefits realisation.
- Support business teams through go-live and post-go-live stabilisation, ensuring positive and sustainable change outcomes.

What you’ll bring
- Proven experience leading change management for large-scale transformation or ERP programmes, ideally involving SAP Ariba and Fieldglass.
- A recognised change management qualification, such as Prosci Change Management Certification or Certified Change Management Professional.
- Strong knowledge of change management frameworks, impact assessment, stakeholder engagement, communications and training strategy.
- Experience applying SAP Activate methodology or an equivalent structured implementation approach.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.
- Experience working collaboratively with cross-functional teams and third-party delivery partners.
- Ability to identify risks and issues, develop mitigation plans and escalate appropriately.
- A continuous improvement mindset and the ability to capture lessons learned to improve delivery.

Desirable
- Project management qualification, such as PRINCE2 or PMP.
- Experience with organisational change models such as ADKAR.
- Experience of benefits tracking, executive reporting and programme governance frameworks.
