Be part of the vision; be part of RIBA
RIBA is a global professional membership body, and a cultural organisation, driving excellence in architecture.
About the Role
RIBA is looking for an experienced ERP Finance Product Owner/SME to play a key role in RIBA’s Digital House of Architecture programme - a major organisation-wide transformation focused on modernising our technology landscape. This role will lead the delivery of a new Finance solution (MS Business Central) as part of a broader technology transformation, replacing legacy systems and helping to create more efficient, streamlined financial processes across the organisation.
Acting as the main link between Finance stakeholders, suppliers, and delivery teams, you’ll help shape the solution from discovery through to implementation, ensuring it meets business needs, supports user adoption, and drives best-in-class processes for long-term value for RIBA.
What We’re Looking For
Essential
- Experience and demonstrable expertise in implementing MS Business Central (or similar system) in organisations of similar size and complexity.
- Experience in developing and implementing best-in-class processes within MS Business Central (or similar system) in an SME environment.
- A strong understanding of Finance and associated Payroll processes and best practice, with the ability to guide the business in translating these into functional and non-functional requirements.
- Exceptional communication skills to collaborate closely with key stakeholders, lead discussions on potential solutions, and achieve consensus on design decisions.
- Ability to quickly assimilate current RIBA Finance policies and processes and adapt them for a new platform and future practices.
- Experience supporting change management and user adoption activities.
- Understanding of data governance and data attributes.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
