We’re looking to recruit an ERP Functional Analyst to join our dynamic team, supporting our national operations from either our North-East (Newcastle) or Scotland East (Edinburgh) office.
Reporting into Group IT, you’ll work within the Analytics & Business Applications (ABA) team to deliver functional support for JD Edwards systems, ensuring seamless operations for internal stakeholders across our UK regional businesses.

Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate closely with Sales, Commercial, and Finance departments to refine and enhance ERP-related processes in response to evolving business needs.
- Oversee day-to-day maintenance and support of JD Edwards environments, ensuring reliability, accuracy, and timely execution.
- Provide second-line service desk support for JD Edwards and associated reporting tools, troubleshooting issues and offering technical guidance.
- Lead the creation of detailed functional specifications for software changes, including development, configuration, documentation, and testing—aligned with industry standards.
Essential Requirements
- Proven experience with finance ERP platforms, focusing on JD Edwards, Microsoft Dynamics, Oracle Financials, or equivalent.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with an ability to interpret both business and technical requirements logically.
- Exceptional communication skills, complemented by a collaborative team-minded approach.
- Dexterity to prioritise tasks effectively and maintain high performance under pressure in a dynamic ERP environment.
