Project Manager – ERP System Implementation
About the Role
Tyréns UK is seeking an experienced Contract Project Manager to lead the selection and implementation of a project-based ERP system, delivering its full lifecycle—from requirements definition to deployment and legacy system retirement. This is a critical business transformation role, aligning technology with operational excellence across a mid-to-large organisation.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee end-to-end ERP implementation, defining scope, governance, timelines, and delivery strategy.
- Take full ownership of programme outcomes, risks, dependencies, and alignment with business objectives.
- Engage stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into system/process solutions.
- Lead vendor selection (RFI/RFP processes, evaluations, and solution recommendations).
- Manage system implementation, integration, configuration, and rollout with existing platforms.
- Ensure data migration, cleansing, and validation to maintain integrity and minimise disruption.
- Drive stakeholder engagement and change management, fostering training and adoption.
- Lead transition from legacy systems, including decommissioning and streamlined processes.
- Establish and maintain project governance, reporting regular updates to senior leadership.
- Align business and technical stakeholders for seamless collaboration throughout deployment.

Essential Requirements
- Proven ERP implementation experience (Deltek, Rapport3, or similar platforms) in complex environments.
- AEC/professional services sector background, ideal experience with project-based organisations (500+ employees).
- Strong vendor management expertise, including selection, contracting, and performance oversight.
- Operates independently, with ownership, accountability, and structured delivery focus.
- Exceptional stakeholder management, including advocacy for leadership and cross-functional alignment.
- Outstanding communication and influencing skills (written/verbal).
- Commercial acumen to advise on systems’ impact on business performance and decision-making.
