ERP Systems Analyst (Finance) London | Hybrid | 1-2 days per week in the office Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience
We are supporting a leading organisation in the appointment of an experienced ERP Systems Analyst to join their team in London. This is an exciting opportunity for a finance systems professional who enjoys working at the intersection of Finance, Technology, and Business Operations. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting, optimising, and continuously improving the organisation's ERP environment, with a particular focus on finance and accounting processes.
The Role
You will act as a key link between the Finance and IT functions, ensuring that systems effectively support accurate financial reporting, efficient processes, and ongoing business requirements.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Providing day-to-day support and troubleshooting for the ERP system and associated applications
- Supporting and maintaining finance-related ERP modules, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, and Cash Management
- Testing and implementing system enhancements, upgrades, and integrations
- Supporting month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring system accuracy and data integrity
- Developing and maintaining reports and reporting tools
- Working with users to understand business requirements and translate these into effective system solutions
- Training end users and maintaining process documentation and standard operating procedures
- Liaising with third-party vendors and IT teams to resolve issues and implement improvements
- Identifying opportunities for automation, process improvement, and greater operational efficiency

About You
The ideal candidate will have:
- Proven experience working as an ERP Systems Analyst, Finance Systems Analyst, Business Analyst, or in a similar systems-focused role
- Hands-on experience with a major ERP platform
- Strong knowledge of core finance and accounting processes, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, and Accounts Receivable
- Experience supporting financial reporting, reconciliations, and month-end processes
- Experience with SQL or data querying for reporting and troubleshooting purposes
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- The ability to translate business needs into clear system requirements and practical solutions
- Excellent communication skills, with the confidence to work across Finance, IT, and wider business teams
- A continuous improvement mindset, with an interest in automation and process optimisation
