ERP Transformation Specialist – Employee Experience & HR

About the Role

As an ERP Transformation Specialist, you will lead complex, enterprise-wide transformation programmes for our clients, helping them modernise core business systems and unlock the full potential of ERP platforms. Embedded in our Employee Experience & HR team, you will design and execute technology-enabled strategies, guide clients through design and implementation, and ensure solutions deliver measurable business impact—improving operational performance, employee experience, and organisational agility.

In this role, you will:

  • Lead ERP transformation programmes, defining strategy, scope, design, and delivery across HR-related and broader enterprise functions.
  • Translate client requirements into clear process, data, and system specifications, ensuring alignment with best-practice ERP architecture and operating models.
  • Advise senior client stakeholders on transformation pathways, including platform strategy, deployment approaches, change impacts, and value realisation planning.
  • Oversee multi-disciplinary delivery teams, enforcing governance, risk management, quality assurance, and seamless integration across workstreams.
  • Contribute to practice development, support bids and tenders, refine ERP transformation methodologies, and mentor consultants to build capability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic leadership: Shape and execute roadmaps for ERP-driven transformations, aligning technology with HR and broader business evolution.
  • Requirements engineering: Bridge the gap between business strategy and technical execution, ensuring scalable, future-proof solutions.
  • Stakeholder engagement: Act as trusted advisor to C-suite stakeholders, providing data-driven insights and navigating complex trade-offs.
  • Execution excellence: Drive end-to-end delivery, balancing agility with rigorous governance to maximise client outcomes.
  • Practice advancement: Inject innovation into Capgemini’s capabilities, from technical workshops to nurturing talent.

Your Profile

  • Industry experience: Demonstrated track record in ERP-led transformation, ideally across multiple platforms (SAP, Oracle, Workday) with a robust grasp of process design, data governance, and implementation lifecycle management.
  • Analytical rigor: Ability to break down complexity, diagnose issues, and develop business-aligned, pragmatic solutions.
  • Engagement skills: Credible communicator who leads with transparency—experienced in senior stakeholder workshops, stakeholders alignment, and behavioural influence in fast-paced environments.
  • Consulting leadership: Delivered high-value project components across industries; skilled in coaching teams, ensuring quality at scale, and driving performance in deadline-sensitive contexts.

Preferred (Not Necessary but Advantageous)

  • Direct industry collaboration (e.g., consulting within ERPs for enterprise clients).
  • Experience in bid/proposition development and delivery.
  • Proficiency in hiring for complex transformation roles or ERP-centric talent acquisition.
