Additional Job Description
Due to a significant new contract win and highly exciting new partnership with Sainsburys, we are seeking to recruit a new position within the Ecolab Sainsburys team in our UK pest business. The Escalation Manager will be pivotal to the success of the contract and a leader within the team. The role will help to deliver world class service to one of the biggest food retail brands in the UK market who have unrivalled focus and pride in their pest management strategy. You will be working within this stand-alone team allowing you to become a subject matter expert of all things Sainsburys and understand their sites inside and out with an aim to quickly become a trusted advisor quickly and effectively.
Main Responsibilities
- Technical Inspections: Carry out contracted inspections in accordance with specification. Including making visits on schedule, carrying out detailed inspections, making suitable recommendations and timely submission of accurate reports in the agreed format.
- Maintaining Standards through Quality Assurance: Assess Ecolab standards of service. Includes assessing compliance with Ecolab Service Protocols and to customer contracted specifications and industry standards, correcting deficiencies where possible, and submitting assessments using the QA system for each routine service and as required.
- Action Planning for Pest Activity: Review the actions undertaken so far on site, recommend riddance actions, assess all recommendations made to the site, provide detailed written action plans to the customer to eradicate ambiguity and deliver in person debriefs. You will follow the process through until clear, tracking the progress of the team in the field during the follow-up process.
- Effective Communication: Communicate findings and recommendations perfectly. To include explaining findings and their implications from Technical Inspections and Quality Assurance audits, escalating via Ecolab and Customer channels and attending review meetings as necessary.
- Technical Support and Coaching in the field: Provide technical support and expertise to Ecolab associates and its Customers. To including troubleshooting, advising on control schemes, identifying pests and taking part in and advising on sales surveys.
- Training: Deliver training to Sainsburys sites where requested by the Account Manager up to three times per annum. To include practical training, coaching, and formal presentations.
- Personal Development: Increase knowledge and understanding in all commercial, technical, and personal aspects.

Qualifications

- RSPH L2 Award In Pest Management as a minimum. Ideally BPCA CAT award is preferred.
- Preferably 3 years experience in Pest Control to a range of customers including food production sites.
