Escrow Sales Associate - JP Morgan - London

We are seeking an Escrow Sales Associate to join J.P. Morgan in London on an initial 6 months contract (PAYE). This onsite role involves supporting Escrow Sales Executives in driving new business while ensuring all activities adhere to regulatory and risk requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Product & Risk Knowledge: Understand escrow products, risks, client needs, and sales strategies.
  • Client Onboarding: Review and ensure proper client documentation for KYC (Know Your Customer) compliance.
  • Communication & Coordination: Liaise with clients and internal teams to manage KYC documentation and timelines.
  • KYC Process Management:
    • Oversee KYC approvals
    • Address queries
    • Ensure checks are completed before deal closures
  • Risk Management: Work closely with compliance teams to escalate and resolve risk issues.
  • Sales System Management:
    • Enter deal data into the sales system
    • Generate and manage pipeline reports
    • Participate in key sales meetings
  • Business Development Support: Conduct research and aid in preparations for sales calls.
  • Client Correspondence: Prepare promotional materials, follow-ups, and client communications.

Requirements

  • Personality & Skills:
    • Customer-focused mindset with ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
    • Strong adaptability to process and workflow changes.
    • Exceptional communication, presentation, organisation, and time management skills.
    • Critical thinking and creativity for business development.
  • Technical Competence:
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office and internet-based systems.
    • Experience with Salesforce is a major plus.
    • Familiarity with AML (Anti-Money Laundering) and KYC/CDD compliance is advantageous.
  • Industry Knowledge:
    • Background in M&A (Mergers & Acquisitions) or institutional escrow services preferred.
    • Any banking/financial services experience is desirable.
