Job Description

Overview

How would you like to play a central role in winning some of the most exciting and complex projects across the UK and Europe? We are looking for a ESG and Impact Win Work Lead to work at the heart of our bidding and work-winning activity, shaping how social value, ESG, collaboration and well-being contribute to successful outcomes for our clients, communities and business.

You will be part of our collaborative Growth Office Win Work Excellence Group team, working on major bids across sectors including infrastructure, water, defence, energy and the built environment. This role brings together bid writing, solution development and strategic thinking, so that social value, ESG, collaboration and well-being is translated into clear, credible and high-scoring responses.

Our growing Social Value team plays a key role in strengthening our position in the market. This role is critical in ensuring we not only meet social value expectations, but differentiate ourselves through compelling, evidence-led solutions that resonate with clients and communities that score highly in competitive tendering scenarios.

This role is intended to be full-time; however, we are open to discussing part-time or flexible working arrangements. We operate a hybrid working model, with an expectation of a minimum of three days per week in the office or on site, alongside flexibility to work remotely for the remaining time. The role will also require regular travel to support bid activity and stakeholder engagement.

Your role

You will work centrally within bid teams, shaping and delivering social value, ESG, collaboration and well-being content that strengthens our ability to win work.

Work winning and bid delivery

  • Lead the development of social value, ESG, collaboration and well-being inputs across bids, translating themes and client requirements into clear, actionable and high-scoring solutions.
  • Write and own quality responses relating to social value, ESG, collaboration and well-being, working closely with technical specialists to bring together strong, evidence-based submissions.
  • Support bid strategy by ensuring social value, ESG, collaboration and well-being are positioned as differentiators, aligned to client priorities, scoring criteria and desired outcomes.
  • Contribute to solutioning workshops and bid reviews, helping shape the overall narrative and approach.

Solution development and innovation

  • Develop practical, deliverable social value, ESG, collaboration and well-being approaches that respond to complex client challenges and expectations.
  • Identify opportunities to strengthen bids through innovative or value-adding initiatives across these key areas.
  • Ensure alignment between proposed solutions, delivery capability and measurable outcome.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
