Role Description
The ESOL Tutor role is a full-time, on-site position based in the Manchester Area, United Kingdom. The tutor will plan and deliver engaging ESOL lessons to adult learners, ensuring that teaching materials and activities are aligned with learners’ needs, levels, and goals.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Assessing language skills
- Setting learning objectives
- Preparing lesson plans and resources
- Providing constructive feedback on learner progress
- Maintaining accurate records
- Contributing to individual learning plans
- Supporting learners with exam preparation and progression into employment or further study
The role also involves:
- Collaborating with colleagues
- Participating in quality assurance activities
- Promoting an inclusive, supportive learning environment

Qualifications
- Strong English Teaching and Tutoring skills
- Teaching English as a Foreign Language and ESOL Teaching skills
- Online Tutoring and blended-learning delivery skills
- Lesson planning, classroom management, and learner assessment skills
- Relevant teaching qualification (e.g., CELTA, TESOL, PGCE, or equivalent) is highly desirable
- Experience working with adult learners and diverse, multilingual groups is beneficial
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills are required
- Ability to use educational technology and digital resources to enhance learning is advantageous
