Job Title: ESOL/TEFL Teacher
Location: Newcastle
Start Date: Immediate Start
Salary: Up to £200 per day

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a welcoming mainstream education provider in Newcastle that is looking to appoint an ESOL/TEFL Teacher due to increased demand. The setting is committed to creating an inclusive learning environment where learners are supported to develop their English language skills, build confidence and achieve their individual goals. The provider is looking to appoint an ESOL/TEFL Teacher on either a long-term cover or permanent basis, depending on the successful candidate.
The successful ESOL/TEFL Teacher will deliver engaging and differentiated English language lessons, assess learner progress, support learners with varying language abilities and contribute positively to the wider learning environment.

The successful ESOL/TEFL Teacher will have:
- A recognised ESOL, TEFL, CELTA, DELTA or equivalent teaching qualification
- Experience teaching ESOL/EAL learners within the UK or overseas
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills
- The ability to plan and deliver engaging, learner-focused lessons
- Experience assessing learner progress and adapting teaching to meet individual needs
- A positive, flexible and supportive approach to teaching
