In February 2022, MAPP acquired RE-DEFINED, a provider of flex workspaces across various client buildings. RE-DEFINED focuses on design, build, marketing, lettings, and pure operational management. The Portfolio is rapidly scaling across MAPP and other property-managed buildings in the Portman WorkWell portfolio. This role presents a unique opportunity to contribute to its growth.

Role Summary

As an Estate Community Manager for RE-DEFINED, you’ll lead the expansion of flex spaces across multiple Portman Estate buildings, merging operational leadership with a customer-centric approach. This dynamic role involves:

  • Being the primary point of contact for occupiers and property managers
  • Ensuring smooth operations, robust relationships, and exceptional service
  • Managing onboarding, maintenance, and long-term occupier satisfaction
  • Driving efficiency and performance across managed buildings

Key Responsibilities

Operational Management

  • Lead all day-to-day operations for assigned flex spaces
  • Ensure buildings run seamlessly, meet security and compliance standards

Occupier Engagement

  • Foster robust relationships with occupiers from onboarding to long-term retention
  • Drive satisfaction through client meetings, surveys, and proactively addressing needs

Health & Safety & Compliance

  • Ensure full adherence to health & safety regulations, MAPP policies, RICS ISO and statutory standards
  • Conduct regular compliance reviews and risk assessments

Customer Experience & Events

  • Organise customer events, networking activities, and community initiatives
  • Delivery memorable experiences that reflect our customer-focused values

Supplier & Financial Oversight

  • Manage cost control and supplier relationships
  • Negotiate procurement, procurement contracts, and vendor agreements with transparency

Reporting & Communication

  • Provide detailed reports on portfolio performance, customer insights, and compliance status

Experience & Working Details

  • Hours: 9:00am – 5:30pm, Monday to Friday
  • Years of Relevant Experience: 3+ years in similar commercial property, operations or occupier management roles
  • Salary: £37,000-39,000 per annum
