Maintenance Electrician – Goodwood Estate
Looking for something a little different from your usual 9–5? You’ve just found it.
We’ve got a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to kickstart or grow their career as an Electrician - this could be one of the most varied and exciting roles out there.
As our Maintenance Electrician, you’ll join a close-knit team based in the beautiful grounds of Goodwood House. You’ll help keep the Estate’s electrical infrastructure safe, efficient, and fully compliant - working across a range of unique locations, from our Farm and Hotel to the Racecourse and Aerodrome.

Your Role
- No two days are the same. One day you might be carrying out electrical repairs across the Estate, the next you could be supporting temporary installations at one of our world-famous events, like the Festival of Speed.
- You’ll be hands-on, proactive, and ready to get stuck in - whatever the day brings.
What You’ll Bring
- Proven experience as an Electrician across domestic, commercial, and industrial settings
- City & Guilds 2357 Level 3 qualification
- City & Guilds 18th Edition
- A methodical, safety-first approach and a “can do” attitude
- Availability to be on-call at least 18 weeks per year (including every 3rd weekend)
- Your own reliable transport (we’re in the countryside!)
