Position: Estate Operations Director

Total Annual Package: Up to $192,500 + comprehensive benefits

  • Base: Up to $175,000
  • Performance bonus: up to 10% of base, paid monthly

Location: Remote (Global)

The Role

We are hiring an operations leader to take full ownership of an international residential portfolio on behalf of a globally prominent principal. You will combine hands-on property and asset oversight with the leadership skills to build and manage high-performing teams across multiple locations.

What You Will Own

  • People: One consistent service standard, live across every property — delivered by household teams of drivers, chefs, housemaids, property maintenance crews, and gardeners, whom you lead and develop directly, with full accountability for scheduling, performance, and all employment decisions, run without day-to-day direction from the principal.
  • Property and Assets: A portfolio that runs without surprises — no asset or service failure reaches the principal — and a standardised House Manual and SOP system built so the next property onboards with zero disruption.
  • Vendors and Budgets: A vendor portfolio renegotiated to clear cost-discipline targets, with single-point accountability for providers, contracts, and spend.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

The two core problems this role exists to solve

  • Primary: Operational truth across a remote portfolio: Full visibility into an international residential portfolio, managed remotely with minimal travel. Design and operate the verification, reporting, and escalation systems that surface what routine reports do not — so that no asset failure, service lapse, or operational risk reaches the principal.
  • Secondary: A standard that holds independently of any individual: One service standard, codified into portable systems — verification cadences, escalation triggers, coverage models, and onboarding frameworks — so that quality holds across properties, jurisdictions, and staff turnover, and each new property enters the framework with zero disruption.

What You Bring

  • A track record of identifying and resolving operational problems before being asked — you see what needs to happen and close it out without waiting for instruction.
  • Five or more years in private residential management, luxury hospitality operations, or a comparable high-service environment.
  • Experience leading and developing teams of ten or more.
  • Direct accountability for people operations, including scheduling, performance management, and employment decisions.
  • Working fluently with AI tools in a professional setting.
  • Oversight of multiple properties across more than one country.
  • Experience working with or supporting high-net-worth principals.
  • Track record of building operational systems from scratch.
  • Strong vendor management and budget discipline.
  • Fluent in English. Additional languages are a plus.
