We now have an exciting opportunity for an organised, proactive and customer-focused Estates Co-ordinator to join our team on a 9-month Fixed Term Contract based at St Leonard's Hospital, Hackney. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with Facilities Management experience who enjoys building relationships, solving problems and working as part of a supportive team.
About the Role
As an Estates Co-ordinator, you will act as a key point of contact between customers, contractors and operational teams, helping to coordinate estates services across St Leonard's Hospital and a portfolio of community healthcare sites across the City & Hackney area.
You'll support the delivery of safe, compliant and customer-focused facilities services, ensuring issues are managed effectively and stakeholders receive a high standard of service. Working across multiple systems and processes, you'll help coordinate maintenance activities, monitor service delivery and support compliance and health & safety requirements.
This is a varied and fast-paced role where no two days are the same. Success will come from your ability to stay organised, communicate confidently, build strong working relationships and proactively resolve issues.
Who You Are
You are a confident and approachable team player who enjoys working with people and delivering excellent customer service. You have experience within Facilities Management, Estates or a similar environment and understand the importance of maintaining safe and compliant healthcare environments.

You are comfortable using multiple IT systems, can manage competing priorities effectively and aren't afraid to ask questions or seek support when needed. Most importantly, you bring a positive attitude, strong communication skills and a genuine commitment to working collaboratively with others.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate estates and facilities activities across St Leonard's Hospital and a portfolio of community healthcare sites across City & Hackney.
- Act as a primary point of contact for customers, contractors and internal stakeholders, ensuring excellent customer service is maintained.
- Support planned and reactive maintenance activities, ensuring works are progressed and completed effectively.
- Use multiple systems to manage service requests, monitor performance and maintain accurate records.
- Assist with health and safety activities and support compliance across the estate.
- Build strong working relationships with operational teams and customers to deliver effective service outcomes.
- Identify issues, coordinate actions and proactively follow up on outstanding work.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to a positive team culture.
- Can handle routine tasks and social interactions within a work environment. Ability to absorb policy and guidance necessary for the role.
What We're Looking For
- Experience within Facilities Management, Estates Management or a similar operational environment.
- Understanding of health and safety requirements and compliance processes.
- Strong organisational and administrative skills.
- Confidence using multiple IT systems and Microsoft Office applications.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively and contribute positively to a team environment.
- Proactive approach with strong problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work across several sites.

Where You'll Be
This role is based at St Leonard's Hospital, Hackney, supporting a portfolio of healthcare properties across the City & Hackney area. The position is a 9-month Fixed Term Contract working 37.5 hours per week. Initially, the role will be site-based, Monday to Friday.
