Join our Estates team and play a key role in maintaining the outdoor spaces our residents use every day.
As an Estates Maintenance Operative, you’ll carry out a range of grounds and estate maintenance tasks, helping to create attractive, well-kept neighbourhoods and delivering a visible service that makes a real difference to our communities.
About the Role
- Salary: £27,039.60 per year
- Location: Milton Keynes and surrounding areas
- Hours: Mon–Thu: 7.30am–3.30pm Fri: 7.30am–2.15pm
- Type: Permanent, Full Time

Responsibilities
You'll be responsible for:
- Maintaining communal gardens, landscaped areas, and green spaces
- Performing grass cutting, hedge trimming, pruning, weeding, litter picking, and general grounds maintenance
- Applying weed, moss, and algae treatments where necessary
- Helping to ensure estate safety and tidiness by reporting concerns (e.g., fly tipping, abandoned vehicles, and landscaping issues)
- Operating and maintaining grounds maintenance equipment safely and effectively
- Recording completed work and using mobile technology to update job records
