Estates Manager

We are looking for an experienced and motivated Estates Manager to join our Operational Estates Team at Berkshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust.

This is an exciting opportunity to lead the delivery of a high-quality estates maintenance and compliance service across a diverse healthcare estate. You will be responsible for planned and reactive maintenance, statutory compliance, asset management, CAFM system management, and the leadership of both the Estates Maintenance and Logistics teams.

Working closely with the Head of Estates & EDTS, you will provide technical leadership, oversee engineering compliance, manage projects, and act as an Authorised Person for relevant engineering disciplines. You will also participate in the Estates on-call rota and support the Trust's commitment to providing safe, efficient, and sustainable healthcare environments.

This is a full-time position based at St Marks Hospital in Maidenhead with regular travel across Berkshire Healthcare sites and flexibility to attend sites outside normal working hours when required.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
