The Bedford Estates is seeking an experienced and motivated Estates Surveyor who is RICS qualified with at least two years post qualification, to join the Property Team at the historic Woburn Estate.
This is a rare opportunity to play a key role in managing a diverse and evolving property portfolio across one of Britain’s most significant historic estates.
Working closely with the Property Director, you will help manage a wide-ranging estate that includes residential homes, commercial premises, agricultural property, and heritage assets. You will be part of a collaborative team responsible for maintaining the long-term stewardship, commercial performance, and operational effectiveness of the Estate.

This is a varied and rewarding role where professional expertise, commercial awareness, and attention to detail are essential.
We are looking for a candidate that has a minimum of 2 years post qualification experience with the RICS to join the Property Team.
The candidate will have a good working knowledge of managing rural country estates with a diverse portfolio of residential, agricultural and commercial properties.
A working knowledge of agricultural, residential and commercial property legislation and regulations, Licences, CPO and agricultural support payments.

A good understanding of day-to-day estate management, lettings, renewals and rent reviews.
To be able to support and work with all business units within the estate and provide a professional and quality estates service to the internal stakeholders. Also liaising with tenants, agents, solicitors and other professional advisors.
We are looking for a candidate who will bring a strong practical approach across the estate management and property operation.
