We’re looking for a practical, reliable Estates Technician to support day-to-day upkeep across our hotel, spa, restaurants, and Lake House estate. This is a short-term, entry-level role focused on routine tasks, basic checks, and assisting the Estates team during a busy period.

You’ll work closely with our Estates Manager and senior technicians, helping with simple maintenance tasks and ensuring our spaces remain beautifully presented.

✨ Your Role as Estates Technician:

  • Supports general tasks, and assists with basic maintenance duties such as simple repairs, tidying, and routine checks.
  • Cleans and tests hot tubs daily, including water testing, chemical balancing, and safety checks for all hot tubs across the estate, ensuring they meet strict hygiene and presentation standards.
  • Supports planned preventative maintenance tasks under supervision.
  • Responds to requests and attends to minor maintenance issues raised by other departments, ensuring issues are logged and escalated appropriately.
  • Supports safety and compliance by following established procedures to help keep facilities safe and compliant.
  • Supports works across grounds and accommodation, by assisting with simple upkeep tasks across the estate, including outdoor areas and staff/guest accommodation.
  • Completes basic checklists, including daily hot tub logs, and reports issues promptly to the senior estates team.
  • Works closely with estates colleagues, contractors, and suppliers to support smooth daily operations.
  • Helps maintain the high standards of cleanliness and presentation our guests expect.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
