Estate Warden Role (Stirling Council) Closing Date: 28th July 2026 Contract Type: Full-time, Permanent Salary: £31,662 – £33,507 per annum Hours: 35 per week Location: Allan Water House
About the Role
We are seeking an innovative and proactive person to join our team—dedicated to maintaining exceptional neighbourhoods that are clean, safe, and secure. This role offers a hands-on opportunity to support estate management, fostering strong relationships with tenants and residents while ensuring compliance with tenancy conditions.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Ensuring up-to-date records of tenancies, performance metrics, and legal requirements.
- Actively contributing to key performance indicators (KPIs) aligned with Council priorities.
- Staying informed about relevant legislation, policies, and procedures.
- Being a visible presence in Council estates to resolve community concerns and issues.
Ideal candidates are driven by the desire to improve living standards, especially if they feel passionately about tackling barriers to well-being in public housing.
Responsibilities
The role carries essential ethical requirements—successful applicants will be enrolled in the Protecting Vulnerable Groups Scheme (PVG) for Children and Adults, a mandatory step after interviews.

Key Duties:
- Provide responsive estate management, addressing maintenance issues, safety concerns, and complaints.
- Maintain accurate records on tenancies, resident movements, and compliance actions.
- Monitor and report against established KPIs.
- Keep informed of current housing regulations, Council policies, and operational procedures.
- Build collaborative relationships with tenants, residents, and multi-disciplinary teams.
- Resolve conflicts to ensure smooth community functioning.
Requirements
Qualifications & Skills:
- Proactive attitude with genuine commitment to improving public estate environments.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced setting.
- Strong exempt writing and administrative skills for record-keeping and reporting.
- Compliance with legal, safety, and fairness regulations in landlord-tenant dynamics.
- Excellent customer service mentality—building trust with diverse residences.
Preferred Experience:
- Prior experience in housing management, community engagement, or estates administration is highly valued.
- A Respect in Housing Specialist/Estates Certificate would be beneficial but not mandatory.
