About the Role
The Cosmetics Company Stores is the outlet retailing operation of The Estée Lauder Companies, where we welcome shoppers into an immersive experience of premium skincare, makeup, fragrance, and haircare.
Since opening our first UK store in Bath (1994), we’ve expanded to 20+ outlets at premier destinations like Bicester Village, Cheshire Oaks, and Gunwharf Quays. If you’re an ambitious, self-starter eager to grow within the Retail Beauty Industry, we’d love to have you on our team.
Responsibilities
You’ll play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer service and supporting day-to-day store operations, including:
- Providing inspirational, authentic, and personalised customer service for our luxury beauty brands
- Ensuring all core Estée Lauder brands (e.g., Clinique, Estée Lauder, Jo Malone London, MAC, Tom Ford Beauty) are presented beautifully and accessible to customers
- Supporting stock deliveries, floor layout, and upholding high store standards
- Collaborating with fellow team members to create a friendly, product-focused environment
- Adhering to company policies and maintaining a positive, professional demeanour with shoppers

Requirements
To join our team, you should have:
- A passion for beauty and energy to engage customers enthusiastically
- Customer service or retail experience (a plus, but not mandatory)
- The ability to stand for extended periods and demonstrate a keen eye for detail
- Right to work in the UK (proof required)
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- A commitment to balancing work-life well-being (we encourage open discussion on availability)

Compensation & Benefits
Pay & Structure
- Anticipated Base Salary Range: £12.72 per hour (for a 40-hour workweek)
- Commission Scheme: Eligible for bonus structures based on performance
